The kaduna state police command has confirmed the arrest of a suspected suicide bomber in Living Faith church also known as Winner's chapel at Sabon Tasha,  Chikun Local Government  Area in the state.

It was gathered , the lone bomber had gained access into the church before he was picked by the Close Circuit Camera placed in the church.

The  chief Security officer of the church,  Mr Ekpeyong Edet said the suspect was monitored through  the CCTV and was promptly accosted by the security operatives on ground and upon searching his bag,  an improvised explosive device was found on him.

Condemning the action,  The chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in the state,  Rev. Joseph Hayab noted that the three-day fasting and prayers embarked by the  CAN leadership was already working.

Hayab said "We don't know what the intention of the suicide bomber was. Probably if they police interrogate him,  they will get better information. As for us,  we have taken security measures to protect our members in this place."

The Public Relations Officer of the kaduna state police command,  DSP Yakubu Sabo said investigation has commenced to ascertain the intentions of the suspect identified as Nathaniel Samuel.
